Looking forward to match day as always & hope you are as well. We have an interesting day planned for you so here’s a couple snippets to ponder.
We’re planning to use both ranges if the weather permits so the order of your shooting sequence may vary but want you to have a rough idea what to expect on match day.
Magnificent Seven: a series of seven brand new pepper poppers to engage at 15 yards: 21 rounds/ 3 seven round mags.
A Glock “M” – like stage: IDPA silhouettes and steel poppers mixed together at 7yd to 15yd ranges: 33 rounds/ 3 ten round mags or as many mags as you need to be on the line with 33 rounds ready to go.
Triple threat: three steel silhouettes at ranges from 12 yds to 30 yds engaged from standing and kneeling behind barricades. 21 total/ 3 seven round mags.
Bowling pins on a table: got a brand new table with five pins perched on it. Take them off the table fast as you can…twice. Yes, you 9mm guys will get a break with a little less distance to peck them off. Us .40–.357 mag.-45 acp-10mm guys will have to whack them a little further. 24 rounds/ three or more mags
You need three magazines, double magazine pouch, eye/ear protection, minimum of 100 rounds of GOOD RELIABLE AMMO. You will be told how many rounds and magazines you will need for each event so be ready to go when your time comes.
Practice precision shooting, mag changes, target transition and beware…
