Heard from Jerry and John that they are ready to run a combo stage apiece and I’ll have two more stages for you so we’ll have a busy day this coming Saturday. Bring eye/ear protection, a reliable centerfire rifle and pistol, any sights or red dots of your choice, 100 rounds ammo for each firearm, holster & magazine pouches with at least two magazines for each gun. Brass catchers are not allowed in the match. Rifle slings are permitted for the present time.
We’ll have a variety of steel and paper targets and ranges will be short to medium with some movement. Rapid reloads will be a priority.
Match sign-up is 8:30 to 9:00 followed by a safety briefing and the match begins promptly. Shooters are expected to help with all phases of match preparation including set-up, tearing down, resetting and pasting of targets as needed.
We run a cold range. No ammo or magazine is allowed to be in any firearm until you are on the firing line, ready to shoot that stage and the Range Safety Officer instructs you to “Load and Make Ready”.
Looking forward to another fun day at RGC!
