Great day at the range with seventeen shooters consisting of ten Level 1s and seven Level 2s. Some pretty amazing talent was on tap from both groups, especially the Level 1 crowd who competed at a higher than usual level with momentum going from one contestant to the next. A great moving target stage courtesy of Jerry Lock & Billy Haynes as well as a “busy” barricade stage by John Kiwacka, a multiple-run plate rack in the pit and finishing off with a multi-distance exploding water can bonanza gave shooters a lot of variety on which to test their skills.

Next month: a Rifle/Pistol match. Bring three mags and 100 rounds of ammo for each gun as well as your usual safety gear & carrying pouches. Expect shooting at near & medium distances, barricades and yes..some one hand or at least weak side shooting. Hope to have four stages and looking forward to seeing all of you at this one on Sat., September 14th. Meanwhile, John, Jerry and I will be listening for your suggestions so keep ‘em coming.
