Thanks to the twelve shooters who showed up and competed for six hours in the sun & some shade( thanks to Jerry’s canopy). Our club appreciates your support for all our shooting disciplines and for your help in running and scoring them. My personal thanks to John Kiwacka and Jerry Lock for their efforts to come up with challenging shooting scenarios as well as serving as RSO’s during the match.
We had two 3-Gun events, one rifle/pistol and one shotgun/pistol. Won’t get into all the details but we had a pretty large variety of targets from steel to clays and paper to water cans, so if you wanted X-ring precision, clanging metal, clay dust clouds or water geysers, then today was your day. This was our only 3-Gun for 2018.

Next month, August 11th, will be a pistol/only match. Good time to bring a new shooter to the games to shoot, help run or just watch.
Meanwhile, practice live fire and dry fire and always, always follow these rules:
(1) Handle every firearm as if it is loaded
(2) Keep the muzzle pointed in a safe direction
(3) Keep your finger off the trigger till your sights are on the target
(4) Be certain of your target and never point at anything you aren’t willing to destroy
